| Advantages︰ | Guar Gum is obtained from the seed of "legume cyamopsis tetragonolobus", an annual plant that grows mainly in arid and semiarid regions of Indian subcontinent . Guar is grown principally as a food crop for animals and ingredient in human foods. The germ portion of its seed is predominantly protein and the endosperm predominantly guar galactomanan.
